On today, International Nurses Day, the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation is asking Australians to reflect and acknowledge the extraordinary commitment and dedication of our nurses working in health and aged care across the country.

Tansing a wonderful example of those we celebrate on International Nurses Day

Resthaven's Julie Tansing has been nursing for more than 50 years. These days she shares her wisdom and expertise as a trainer, workforce development program manager and mentor of graduate nurses, but also importantly as a nursing specialist on Parkinson's Disease, which is driven and informed by a family member's battle with the condition. BIANCA ROBERTS reports
