The Federal Government was squarely in the campaign sights of aged care workers who rallied outside Federal Parliament yesterday, after being, what they call 'dudded', in Tuesday night's Budget.
Under the current National Disability Insurance Scheme, those who acquire their injuries after the age of 65 are not eligible for support and instead need to go through the aged care system. Centre Alliance MP Rebekha Sharkie is calling on the Government to strike out the cutoff.
