Let’s Rethink Diabetes: The less known impacts for those living with this common condition

During National Diabetes Awareness Week we acknowledge that the disease increases the risk of heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, blindness and lower limb amputation. However, Diabetes Australia has launched a new campaign, Let’s Rethink Diabetes, to raise awareness for a less recognised impact of the condition: reduced mental health due to the negative stigma surrounding it.
