Curtin University receives funding for research into aged care work-related psychosocial hazards

Safe Work Australia has awarded the Centre for Transformative Work Design at Curtin University a $373,762 grant towards research on eliminating or minimising work-related psychosocial hazards for aged care workers by developing and implementing work redesign solutions that optimise job demands.

The grant will support a two-year participatory research project led by Dr Daniela Andrei, Professor Sharon Parker, and Dr Jane Chong.

The research findings will contribute to the evidence base for effective organisational approaches to work design and the management of workplace psychosocial risks.
