Aged care tech group to roll out personal emergency response devices

Must read

HSC Technology Group has announced it has signed a three-year national reseller contract with Tunstall Healthcare to roll out its Personal Emergency Response (PERs) devices at aged and community care facilities using Tunstall’s telecare solutions.

Hastened by Telstra’s pending 3G shutdown, which requires 300,000 Australian PERs devices to be upgraded before 2024, the contract includes supplying an initial order of 200 Essence Care@Home PERs devices powered by the TALIUS Smart Care Platform, in Tunstall’s Australian retirement living, independent living and community care sectors.

HSC Technology managing director, Graham Russell, said his company is excited to be working with Tunstall Healthcare’s Australian team to provide care solutions that enable their clients to continue living independently.

“Adopting the TALIUS Smart Care Platform demonstrates Tunstall’s dedication to delivering innovative care,” he said.

“With this system now in place we are looking forward to helping them use its features to deliver even more proactive care across Australia.

Tunstall Healthcare Australia managing director, Lyn Davies, said her company is excited to be implementing HSC’s technology.

“This is a big step in continuing to help our clients confidently live the life they choose while ensuring they are kept safe and secure,” she said.
